As a person, photographer and member of society I find it incredibly useful to talk about issuses that surround the photography industry. Also as a member of the LGBTQ community i find it both empowering and important to bring to light some of the issuses where the set two worlds collide.

Here is where I stand. I would proudly shoot clients from all backgrounds, races, sexualites, genders etc. I also believe that it is incredibly important to show potential clients this stance and pride.  These pictures are from a recent engagement shoot for Alana and Clair, who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. During their shoot they talked about how important it is for potential clients to "see themselves" in a photographer's portfolio. Alana and Claire described how when searching for someone to shoot their wedding, many photographers they came across didn't show LGBTQ couples.

Check out more images from the session below. Thanks again to Alana and Clarie you two were amazing to work for!
